VTV's News director Jorge Garcia Alberti, cameraman Sebastian Ferrin, and U.S. Embassy Information specialist Rubek Orlando traveled to the United States today, to work on a four-part miniseries about the most distinct areas of bilateral relations between Uruguay and the United States. The crew will visit the cities of Miami, Chicago, Sacramento, Seattle, New York and Charleston. They will be interviewing Uruguayans who live and work in the U.S., as well as a number of American business executives actively involved in bilateral trade with Uruguay. The program will cover topics such as beef imports, wines, software, education and cultural exchanges. The Uruguayan cable network VTV produced a similar program in 2005 with very successful ratings.
